Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I hope your family festivals have been filling. The Rusty Nickels have A LOT to be thankful for. Our good friends at Mine, All Mine! Records were kind enough to add “A Hand Of King & Queens” to their Winter Sampler. It is the labels 200th release, & feature some kick ass bands from around the country. They even included a low-fi DW & Co. track, “Wisconsin Hate You Scott Walker” which I sing back up vocals on! You can download the sampler for FREE at the link below:

Thank you John Praw & everyone at Mine, All Mine! Records for having us. We love you!

Photos: Video shoot for “A Hand Of King & Queens”

Sunday: The day of our music video shoot. For the video we drove all the way out to Sauk, WI (outside of Madison) It was very cold, & if I had considered the location, I would have brought warmer clothes. The video was directed by Brian Lis, & his crew of the merry weathermen. I would like thank Brian for his help & contributions to the project. With out him, we never would have been able get the concept off the ground.

I would also like to thank everyone who came Saturday to our performance at Der Rathskeller in Madison. The audience was receptive & enjoyable to play to.  Thank you TJ Matzenh & Brandon Clementi for helping me obtain the gig! I also had the pleasure of seeing Giant People, who also played that night. They are a up & coming Madison band that has been rocking a frenzy all over Madison latley. Its nice to see someone else who love Frank Black as much as I do.

Our show at Stage Right (in MKE) Friday equally enjoyably. Caley Conway & myself each played a set of our material, with Loup headlining. The combination of Caley’s family & friends, with the assorted crew of Loup & myself made for a very diverse crowd. Given that the venue is no larger then the average living room, it was rather “packed”. Thanks for having us Stage Right!?

Overall a really rusty weekend…

Photo: A barn in Sauk,WI {aka our music video set}

On Nov 20th, Myles Coyne & the Rusty Nickel Band will be filming a music video for our song, A Hand Of King & Queens. The shoo is being held in a barn, outside of Madison, in the city of Sauk, WI. Brian Lis will be directing the project.

We are in need of extra’s for the video. If you are interested & would like to be apart of the video, please contact me: mylescoynebooking@gmail.com

Our good friends at Playground Misnomer have also featured our “request” on their site. Its a really kick ass site devoted to music in the Midwest. Please check out the post on! Leave a comment of support maybe?

The barn was provided by The Miller’s (aka our Bucket players relatives) Thanks again to the Millers for the help & support. In the past, they have let Animals In Human attire utilize their families RV for touring. Karma will reward them greatly, it will destroy us.
