Somewhere in Iowa with Charlie
Charlie Celenza: Our Animals In Human Attire drummer, & one of my best friends. I meet the cat a few years ago. We were playing together at the Murray Cultural Center: the most bad ass house venue in MKE, responsible for some of the best show I have ever sense. Including meeting Charlie. At the time he was playing in Soul Low. He was tripping on acids & playing drums like a maniac. Right away I knew he was one of the best drummer I had ever seen.
A year or so later I recruited him for AIHA. If you have seen one of our shows lately you may ave noticed the rhythm section has suped up a bit. Its World music, & The Talking Head’s all they way from now on!!
