Riverwest Fest III is here! I will be playing a solo set on the 22nd round 3pm at People’s Books Co-op & then as Animals In Human Attire right after at Jackpot Gallery. Assume to be bothered by me the day of the show, considering that both venues are right next to Fuel Cafe & are both all ages.  US MALE will be playing our first full band set the day before (Dec 21st) at Uptowner with Sat Nite Duets. “Nod To Bob” is a Bob Dylan tribute show hosted once a year at Linneman’s for the benefit of Hunger Task Force. Charity, Dylan, music: all agreeable topics! Jim Linneman was kind enough to ask Caley, Jack & I to be apart of the night performers. It was an amazing experience getting to be apart of the evening & shareing the bill with some of Milwaukee’s finest. Rae Cassidy even made a visit from the East cost for tune! We met tons of great people & ate many a turkey sandwich (provide by Jim & Marty) It was a lovely way to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom: who I finally got to see me perform… to a bunch of people watching. A million thanks you again to Jim Linneman for letting us play. Thank you Jim!

Practicing up some Dylan tunes for next Wednesday. We are taking apart of Linnemans “Nod To Bob” on the 21st (the day before Thanksgiving) Its a benefit show where a bunch of Milwaukee peeps get together & cover some Bob Dylan tunes. So many faces of love & friendship for the cause of art. My favorite pic of Nellie’s Cupcakes would have to be the standard: chocolate. though Strawberry was in the running for a bit. Anyone miss our Zelda set? if so, what the fuck… no worries. We will do it again soon. Though Al is telling me I’m going full drum kit next time. Oh shit, I have to practice music now!? Also, sorry for the lack of posts. I have a new phone… so I can take instagram now! But I refuse to upload JUST intagram’s to this blog. It looks tacky & defeats the purpose of having two separate accounts. Its just hard getting muit-media band content when everyone is using their phones these days. Here’s a little pic from out 3/6th Rusty set at Art Bar last night. It was a splendid evening & the pizza was scrumptious. It was the first show were I sang a duet with Caley for Volcano Song, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Big thanks to pals,Jaems Murphy’s Vedic Edenfor hosting & having us.
